2. General information

CALIDA GROUP takes care to protect your personal data and to comply with the legal requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the Ordinance to the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection regulations.

 

3. Collection and storage of personal data, as well as the nature and purpose of its use

a)    When visiting the website
When you visit our website www.calidagroup.com, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted after 10 days:
•    IP address of the computer system accessing the site,
•    Date and time of access,
•    Name and URL of the file accessed,
•    Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
•    Browser type and version, as well as other information transmitted by the browser (such as your computer's operating system, the name of your access provider, geographical origin, language settings, etc.).

These data are processed by us for the following purposes:
•    Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
•    Ensuring convenient use of our website,
•    evaluating system security and stability, and
•    for other administrative purposes.

Our legitimate interest is to enable the use of our website, to ensure system security and stability, and to enable the optimisation of our website. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. Data processing is necessary for the use of the website. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (for data processing) and § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG (for technical provision).
 

b)    When registering for our email notifications
We offer email notifications (hereinafter referred to as "newsletters") in which we inform you about our financial results, ad hoc announcements and all news relating to the CALIDA GROUP. When registering, you can choose the language of the newsletter (German or English). In order to deliver the newsletter, we process your personal data and work together with Interaction Partners AG, An der Lorze 21, 6300 Zug, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "Interaction Partners").

If you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, we will use your email address to send you our newsletters. You will then receive a registration notification by email, which you must confirm within 24 hours in order to receive the newsletter (known as double opt-in). This serves as proof that the registration was actually initiated by you.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time without giving reasons by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email. You will be taken to the unsubscribe form, where you must confirm your unsubscription from the newsletter or from all notifications from CALIDA Holding AG in order to stop receiving the newsletter. Once you have unsubscribed, you will no longer receive any further newsletters.

c)    When registering for our digital mailing service
We offer a digital mailing service where you can receive important shareholder information (e.g. invitations to the Annual General Meeting) by email. According to the Articles of Association of CALIDA Holding AG, only those who are entered in the share register are recognised as shareholders of the company. In the context of sending shareholder information, we process your personal data and work together with Areg.ch AG, Fabrikstrasse 10, 4614 Hägendorf, Switzerland (hereinafter: "Areg").

If you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, we will use your email address to send you our shareholder information.

 

4. Transmission of data to third parties

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those specified in the following.

a)    Transmission to Interaction Partners
Your personal data will be passed on to Interaction Partners AG, An der Lorze 21, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. The data is passed on for the purpose of sending and managing the newsletter.
The data is transferred on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, whereby the aforementioned purposes are to be regarded as legitimate interests within the meaning of this provision.

b)    Transmission to Areg
Your personal data will be transferred to Areg.ch AG, Fabrikstrasse 10, 4614 Hägendorf, Switzerland. The data is transferred for the purpose of sending shareholder information.
The data is transferred on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, whereby the aforementioned purposes are to be regarded as legitimate interests within the meaning of this provision.

 

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies or other similar functions and technologies (such as pixel tags) on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information relating to the specific device used is stored in the cookie. However, this does not mean that we can directly identify you from that.

The pixels send your IP address, the referrer URL of the website you visited, the time at which the pixel was viewed, the browser used and previously set cookie information to a web server. This makes it possible to carry out reach measurements and other statistical evaluations, which serve to optimise our offer.

6. Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web-based platform provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "Google"). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies are used. Certain information about the user's behavior (pages visited, length of stay, etc.) is stored. The information collected by cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address, which is anonymised before being stored so that it can no longer be assigned to a connection) is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. 7. Rights of data subjects

You have the right:
•    request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR or Art. 25 DSG. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
•    In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR and Art. 32 DSG, to request the immediate correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us;
•    to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR or Art. 32 DSG, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
•    to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR or Art. 32 DSG, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to have it deleted and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defence of legal claims, or you have lodged an objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
•    pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request its transfer to another controller;
•    pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, to revoke your consent from us at any time. As a consequence, we will no longer be allowed to continue processing data based on this consent in the future; and
•    in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters for this purpose.


8. Right to object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without you having to specify a particular situation.

9. Data security

All data you transmit personally is encrypted using the generally accepted and secure TLS (Transport Layer Security) standard. TLS is a secure and proven standard that is also used in online banking, for example. You can recognise a secure TLS connection by the "s" appended to the http (i.e. https://..) in the address bar of your browser or by the lock symbol at the bottom of your browser.
We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Due to the further development of our website and the offers made on it, or due to changes in legal or regulatory requirements, it may be necessary to amend this privacy policy. This privacy policy is currently valid and was last updated in October 2025.
